Malang, September 17, 2025 — In commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), Persada Hospital held a Blood Donation Event in the hospital’s main lobby on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Approximately 100 participants, including hospital employees, visitors, and local residents, took part in this humanitarian initiative.
Aligned with the national theme for PMI’s 80th anniversary, #SpreadKindness, the event reflects Persada Hospital’s commitment to promoting social solidarity. The theme encourages individuals to perform acts of kindness, no matter how small, as an expression of care for others.
As a token of appreciation, each blood donor received a Healthy Salad from Nutribite, a Persada Hospital product that supports a healthy lifestyle. The event also received support from Young Living, contributing enthusiasm and positive energy to the humanitarian activity.
"We believe that health is not only about medical services, but also about fostering a sense of care for others. Through this blood donation, we want to emphasize that a single drop of blood not only saves lives but also spreads the spirit of kindness. We hope this activity can inspire more people to share," said Sylvia Kitty Simanungkalit, Public Relations Supervisor at Persada Hospital.
The blood donation event not only contributes to maintaining blood supply stocks but also encourages wider community participation in sustainable humanitarian actions.
Persada Hospital is committed to making social activities like blood donation a regular agenda, so that the benefits can reach more people in Malang and its surrounding areas.
