Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (MISS operation) includes many procedures, such as:
1. PELD (Percutaneous Endoscopic Lumbar Decompression) is a surgical technique for treating pinched nerves with the aid of an endoscope and monitor, allowing clear visualization and avoiding nerve injury. With only 8mm incision and minimal bleeding, PELD technique offers some advantages for the patients such as reduced pain post surgery, ability to walk after surgery, and a quicker return to work or daily activities.
2. Kyphoplasty is a surgical procedure to treat fractured spine, complete or partial spinal fracture. This procedure is also known as balloon kyphoplasty, with the aid of a C-Arm machine for guidance.
