The event was held at the DOME of Politeknik Negeri Malang and took place from 06:00 to 12:30 WIB on November 3, 2024. Nordic Walking is a walking technique that has been popular in Finland since 1901. This physical activity involves walking using two ski poles.
The event began with a welcome greeting for participants coming from outside Malang City. The participants were members of the Nordic Walking Community across Indonesia. This was followed by a warm-up session led by Mr. Ony and then the Mountain Autumn Exercise (Senam Gugur Gunung).
At 07:00 WIB, the participants started their Nordic Walking from the Politeknik Negeri Malang football field heading north toward Taman Krida Budaya, before returning to the DOME of Politeknik Negeri Malang.
By 09:00 WIB, participants had returned and entered the DOME to continue the main event. The program began with a joint prayer, followed by the singing of the Indonesian National Anthem, “Indonesia Raya,” and the “Derap Nordik” song.
At 09:15 WIB, the host, KOJANORMA, delivered a welcome speech to the participants. The event continued with the distribution of banners and certificates to all branches of the Indonesian Nordic Walking Community (KJNI) present. This was followed by a speech from the KJNI Chairperson and concluded with an entertainment segment.
